Megaworld holds blessing rites for Uptown showroom
The country’s top developer, Megaworld Corporation, marked another milestone with the blessing and ribbon cutting of its newest showroom in Fort Bonifacio today, April 19.
Located at Uptown Parade Cluster 2, the Grand Uptown Showroom spans approximately 1,200 square meters and features a contemporary architecture with its floor-to-ceiling glass wall.
Leading the ceremonial ribbon cutting were Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso, Chief Operating Officer of Megaworld; and Noli D. Hernandez, Senior Vice-President for Sales and Marketing.
Rev. Glenn Gaabucayan presided over the blessing. In attendance also were property consultants, sales managers, and some staff from the Project Development Group and the Public Relations and Media Affairs of Megaworld.
The blessing was in time for a double special occasion as the Company celebrates its 15th year in Fort Bonifacio. On April 2002, Megaworld opened its very first township in Fort, Forbes Town Center, which has now established itself as the most vibrant leisure destination in Taguig.
As part of the program, Gutierrez-Alfonso gave an inspirational speech to people who graced the event. She extended her appreciation to Hernandez for leading Megaworld’s sales division in Fort and reminded everyone of the significant contribution each person plays in pushing forward the Company vision.
Gutierrez-Alfonso then concluded her speech with a quote from Megaworld's President Dr. Andrew L. Tan, “Achievement is not about an individual working and striving alone, but rather, it is our strength as [a] driven and hardworking team that will let us win over the competition.”
The Grand Uptown Showroom will open its doors to the public on April 22. It will showcase the cosmopolitan lifestyle Uptown Bonifacio is known for, featuring modern interior designs at the mezzanine, bar & lounge, gallery, and business areas, among others.
Uptown Bonifacio is the most recent township of Megaworld in Fort Bonifacio, featuring a live-work-play lifestyle and posing itself as the next central business district in the metro. As of today, three residential projects are slated in the township: One Uptown Residence, Uptown Ritz, and Uptown Parksuites. Other Fort mega-communities include McKinley Hill, McKinley West, and Forbes Town Center, altogether boasting a total of 43 residential towers.
